Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Creative Kids Learning Center preschool and extended daycare in North Las Vegas, NV. My name is Julie and I am the school director. I have worked here for over 30 years. Our school opened in April of 2016 and offers Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs as well as several elective classes.

Many of our teachers completed the Child Development Associate Credential Program and we have attained national accreditation through NECPA. We have wonderful, caring teachers who are busy providing fun and exciting activities to help our children learn and grow.

Julie Mathews, Director

Education: Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: CDA- Preschool, Nevada Registry Approved Trainer

I started working at Creative Kids in 1994, shortly after I graduated high school! I have grown with the company and achieved my CDA in Preschool and an associate's degree in early childhood education. I love to watch as children learn and master new skills and get ready for kindergarten. I strive to develop a safe and nurturing environment for children and families, so that they can reach their education goals.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, University of Guam

Hello! Hafa Adai! I already knew at a very young age that I wanted to work with children. I graduated from the University of Guam in 2000. From 2000 - 2020, I have taught second through fifth grade in two schools. I have always been committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for all student, their families and their teachers.
