Hello! My name is Doris Herrera and I am the Director here at the Blue Diamond location. I moved here from California in 2023 and started my career with Creative Kids as an Assistant Director. Prior to my move, I was a kindergarten teacher for over 22 years and ran the Child Development Center during my time in Redondo Beach School District. My goal as a director is to create a fun, safe, and learning environment for all my students in my center. I look forward to having you join our school.

Creative Kids - Blue Diamond provides nutritious meals and snacks, with menus approved by a registered dietitian nutritionist and aligned with USDA nutrition and portion guidelines. Vegetarian options are available, and additional accommodations may be available for special dietary needs, religious requirements, or severe food allergies.

Our school is equipped with a secure entry system that helps ensure only authorized individuals can enter the building. Children are released only to parents, guardians, or individuals listed on their authorized pickup list. Anyone unfamiliar to our staff must present a government-issued photo ID, and advance authorization is required for individuals not on the approved list. These safety measures help provide peace of mind knowing your child is safe and protected throughout the day.
