Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Creative Kids - Summerlin! We provide daycare and preschool in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our classrooms give children opportunities to explore, discover, and learn through experiences designed for their individual stage of development. As a local childcare and early education center, we aim to make every new stage of learning feel encouraging for children and reassuring for families.

Our school offers Infant, Toddler, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School Club programs, along with engaging summer camp experiences, in a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment. Our exclusive Learn as We Grow® curriculum uses hands-on, play-based, and inquiry-driven experiences to encourage children to explore, imagine, and ask questions.

Through our curriculum and Pathway Learning process, teachers observe each child’s progress, complete assessments throughout the year, and establish individual learning goals to support continued growth. These learning experiences help children develop communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills as they build the foundations for kindergarten readiness.

Families can enjoy an all-inclusive daycare experience, including meals, snacks, diapers, and wipes, as well as on-site enrichment activities. Flexible, part-time care options are also available for families who need additional scheduling flexibility. Director

My name is Tracy Mauro, and I have the privilege of serving as your Director. I take great pride in building meaningful relationships with the families and children we serve. Originally from California, I relocated to Las Vegas in 1999. As a mother of three wonderful boys, my family is my greatest joy. I have been a part of Creative Kids for over 19 years, during which I have held various roles and contributed to our mission.

Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.

Our Summer Camp program, Wondercamp, gives children a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and fun through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and engaging weekly themes. Designed for toddlers to 12-year-olds, this full-day program encourages imagination, curiosity, and collaboration with friends.
